“The cell, has no doubt, helped develop my knowledge of God, but above all, it has given me a place to nurture my relationships with others to live out God’s working in me. It is the place where my imperfections are not judged but rather helped. It is like coming home to my dearest loved ones: we help each other grow, share our struggles, our anxieties, poke fun at each other, and encourage one another. Here, I can discuss my fears, skepticism, doubts, convictions, uncertainties and still be respected. It is here I see and learn the Word in action and not just merely words”.

– Sheba Mathew

“I knew that there was much that I had to offer but didn’t know how to; I was shy. Being in a cell group surrounded by fun people acted as a catalyst and helped me open up. Another thing that the cell group has enabled me to understand is to be sensitive toward other people, where I’d be quick to judge, but now I’ve learnt to show grace”.

– David Sinchury

BBFC is a professional football club started in 2016 with a vision  to impact the youth of the Mumbai city with strong leadership values on & off the pitch.

The club’s underlying purpose is to provide a platform to the football lovers, build relationships and help them grow in their careers and share the love of god and sport.

Among the main principles are the desire to promote ethics in sport and bridge the gap between the professional and business side of football, while maintaining the utmost respect towards fans and all sport enthusiasts.

As a church, we are committed to seeing God work in our lives in very tangible ways. To “ask and keep on asking… Knock and keep on knocking… Seek and keep on seeking”, in Jesus’ words, is what we are called to do.

We know Prayer is Powerful. If you would like to join in this exciting journey of asking, seeking & knocking, join our Prayer Warriors on Sunday afternoon at 12 noon or on Tuesday Evening at 07:00 pm on the Church Campus.

If you have a prayer request or have seen an answer to prayer, do let us know in the form here.

Any prayer requests shared will remain confidential and will be shared with the Prayer Warriors solely for the purposes of prayer.

“Being in the street-kids ministry is about seeing lives touched and transformed. It’s about stories like that of Prabhu. Prabhu lived on the streets at Nariman Point. He along with his four siblings would make their living by selling toys or sometimes begging. His parents eventually managed to send him and his siblings to a boarding school in Pune, but they could not continue beyond a year because of the costs. Some of our volunteers who knew these kids inquired and arranged for the Church to sponsor the boarding charges. Prabhu came to our Christmas party where he said, ‘Once I slept on the streets but today I have a cot to sleep on; I didn’t have food to eat but today I get to eat all three meals’. Praise God”.

– Virjil Selvan

The church is also involved in several social causes both in the vicinity of the church and in other parts of Mumbai. Some of our involvements include

Street Kids Ministry

The team meets with over 80 children in 3 locations every Sunday where they give the kids snacks and spend time with them.

Leprosy Affected

Reaching out to people suffering from Leprosy: Approximately 25 people come to the church every Sunday where they share a meal and hear from God’s Word.

Adult Literacy

This ministry engages with people who work around the church and have not had the benefit of a formal education.

Prison Ministry

Teams visit both the men’s and women’s prisons, to listen, encourage and pray for the inmates. We also have a time of carol singing every year during the season of Christmas, thereby spreading the hope of Christ in the midst of despair.
